Friends Only

Hi, my journal is Friends Only. If you like to friend me, please tell me a little bit about yourself. I'd like to know where you found me. If this is from a friend of a friend, I'd like to know. If we share common interests, I'd be more likely to add you. But please don't assume that because you add me, it doesn't mean I will add you back. My journal is very personal to me and I'd like to invite only a few people who keep in touch with me. If you never say anything to me, even if I added you, eventually I will prolly delete you without further warning. What is the use of being on each other's list if we don't even communicate? Isn't that's what this journal is for? Communication and Interaction. Anyway, thanks for stopping by.

Hello and thank you

Thank you for the add-back on LJ Angela. These days here on LJ I use my account much in the same way you use yours ... to read communities and friend's journals. I'm on MySpace too if you have an account there, and that's mainly where I post. I don't post on LJ anymore ... too much debate ... and too many people with hostile opinions I suppose ... I find MySpace to be easier for keeping in touch and just keeping things a bit more friendly. You know how that goes. We have some mutual friends there and here on LJ ([info]m0nkeygrl). I would try to add you there, but don't know your email address to put down to request the add on there. So, if you get a chance and want to keep in touch there, hop on over.

Sweetmeow here - on IJ!!

I've created an insane journal acct. and would like to friend you!! :) I'll keep my Live Journal Open ID, too, because I still intend to keep Live Journal as my main journal. I'm not writing in the journal - as I have enough to keep up with LJ. Yet -- it's there in case Live Journal dies. I sure hope it doesn't, because it remains my home. I am looking into archiving my entries. I have so many of them....

There is a way to TRANSFER all your ENTRIES from Livejournal to Insane Journal. Whenever you are READY, just lemme know and I will help you.... *hugs*

I worry about the transfer due to the AMOUNT of entries I have. I've been journaling since 2001. Entries are long and full of graphics.... So -- it would take forever for stuff to port over. But -- it's nice to know there is a way.

I'm trying to figure out how to use Semagic to post here, but it's not working, mainly because my screen name in LJ is the same as in IJ, and I think there is a conflict. Yet -- they say it can be done even with this issue.

Yeah, there is a way. I have been blogging on Livejournal since 2000. But I believe I only transferred from 2002 to 2007. Um, I'm not even sure. It's been so long. I forget. Yeah, but I managed to transferred EVERYTHING including my tags. The only ones I couldn't transfer are my "comments". Some people said you could do that too, transfer your comments but I don't know how.

I would love to copy all my entries -- including my comments. I think LJ Book does it, but haven't investigated it yet. But -- that is a hard copy on your computer and not transferred to another blog.

Hey Denise. Yeah..."Cinco de Mayo". My neighbors were very NOISY during this day. We could HEAR their mariachi band all the way, accross from our street. They played and party till 12:00 AM...anyhoo...*lotsa hugs* to you my friend.
