Dear LJ Friends,

As of January 17, 2008, I stopped posting on Livejournal. InsaneJournal is now home for me. If you don't see any post from me on LJ, come and see me here on InsaneJournal. To see my posts on InsaneJournal, you need to create an OpenID here. You do not need to create an "account" on InsaneJournal in order to see my post. Your OpenID from LiveJournal alone will do the trick. I know not all of you wants to move here or have another blog somewhere. And so I respect your decision.

How do I create an OpenID on InsaneJournal?

1. First, sign on your Livejournal account (very important)
2. Then go to InsaneJournal and go to: http://www.insanejournal.com/openid/
3. On that "Your OpenID URL" box enter: yourusername.livejournal.com
4. Click "Login" then click on "Remember Me" then SAVE.
5. Then ADD ME on IJ, so I can add you back to SEE my post.

Am I able to view your posts on my LJ friends page?

EDIT: YES. You can see my posts from your LJ Friends page. Just add my Feed here: angeld0ve
~~The answer is No~~. You can click DIRECT from that link on my comment that has "angeldove.insanejournal.com" next to my icon and that will bring you DIRECT to my IJ and you are able to READ my posts. As long as I have added your OpenID on my InsaneJournal FList, you will be able to SEE all my posts.

There are 2 more other ways to SEE my posts:

(1) When I make a comment on your Livejournal, you can click LINK on my OpenID angeldove.insanejournal.com next to my icon and it will lead you DIRECT to my InsaneJournal and you can READ my posts. Example below.

(2) Another way of doing it is, you can create a LINK on your "side menu" on Livejournal. For example, on my image below, that is the "side menu" I have on my InsaneJournal. Notice it says there "Friends on Livejournal". I created a link just for me, so whenever I want to READ my LJ Friends posts, I don't have to go to Livejournal everytime just to log in. I click the "Remember Me" on Livejournal so I don't have to do this process over and over again. And since you created an OpenID on InsaneJournal, you will have to click the "Remember Me" on InsaneJournal. (see the gray image below the green one)

Do I have to "sign on" everytime I go to InsaneJournal?

Yes. But once you clicked that "Remember me" button, you don't have to do this process over again on InsaneJournal just to "sign on" everytime you want to SEE my post. Once that "Remember Me" button is clicked & saved, InsaneJournal remembered your OpenID permanently.

Do I have to create an InsaneJournal account in order to view your posts?

No. But me adding your OpenID (ex: yourusername.livejournal.com) will enable you to view my posts.

For instance, I'll use my OpenID (angeldove.livejournal.com) as an example. On my OpenID (see image above), notice I checked the "Remember Me" button there. On that link below that says "Read your friends page" -- if you click this link you will SEE my posts. However, whenever I want to read my Friends Page on Livejournal, I don't want to do this process over again. And so what I do is COPY the LINK from the "Read your friends page" (i.e. http://ext-73239.livejournal.com/friends) and INCLUDE this address on my "LINK LIST" on my side menu on InsaneJournal...which you can do also on Livejournal. And so if you look on my InsaneJournal's side MENU, you can see it there "Friends on Livejournal". I just click that everytime I wanna READ all my Friends Page on Livejournal.

How do I enable my "anonymous" posting on Livejournal?

Thank you for asking me this. Although you have added my OpenID (angeldove.insanejournal.com) on your Livejournal, LJ sees my OpenID as "anonymous" so you need to enable your anonymous posting in order for me to comment on your journal. In order to enable your anonymous posting, go to: http://www.livejournal.com/manage/comments.

I cannot see your post even when I'm sign on my OpenID on InsaneJournal?

First, you have to sign on your LJ account in order for you to see my post on InsaneJournal. Even if you're sign on your OpenID on IJ, if you did not log in your LJ account, you won't be able to do it. The way I do it is, I always click the "Remember Me" button on my OpenID, and so all I have to do is sign on my main account here on InsaneJournal, and I don't have to do the process of signing in over & over again. For you LJers, you will need to click the "Remember Me" button on your InsaneJournal OpenID, but you must LOG IN your LJ account first before you can do it.

Hi, my journal is Friends Only. If you like to friend me, please tell me a little bit about yourself. I'd like to know where you found me. If this is from a friend of a friend, I'd like to know. If we share common interests, I'd be more likely to add you. But please don't assume that because you add me, it doesn't mean I will add you back. My journal is very personal to me and I'd like to invite only a few people who keep in touch with me. If you never say anything to me, even if I added you, eventually I will prolly delete you without further warning. What is the use of being on each other's list if we don't even communicate? Isn't that's what this journal is for? Communication and Interaction. Anyway, thanks for stopping by.
